Open Streets prioritizes participatory, educational, or otherwise engaging activities. Please note that sales are NOT PERMITTED at Open Streets, distribution of political materials comes with certain regulations, and we make an effort toward *low-waste/footprint events* so no-waste activities, recyclables, compostables, and environmental awareness activities are encouraged.

INSURANCE: A Certificate of Liability Insurance for all organizations participating in Open Streets, due by OCTOBER 11th, 2018. Certificates must name Bike Santa Cruz County Education Fund as additional insured; address: 333 Soquel Ave., Santa Cruz CA 95060. More details will be emailed to you if you are confirmed as a sponsor. If securing event insurance is a problem, please contact us.
LIABILITY WAIVER: A Waiver of Liability TO BE SIGNED BY PARTICIPANTS is required if you will be HOSTING an activity of a physical nature (e.g. bicycling, dance, martial arts. A copy of your waiver must be submitted by *SEPTEMBER 28th 2018*. We can assist in providing a template.
SET-UP: You must provide all the equipment, staff, and structures you need to host your booth/activities, including tables, tents, and chairs. ALL PARTICIPATING organizations must provide their own small refuse and recycling receptacles.
